Overview

Entities, such as corporations, partnerships, and trusts, also have specific criteria they must meet to qualify as accredited investors according to the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

Note: Entities include corporations, partnerships, limited liability companies, trusts, and other organizations.

Entity Standards​

Below are the common standards for entities. An entity only needs to meet one of the following criteria to qualify.

  • Assets
  • Owner Qualifications
  • Financial Institutions

These standards apply to various types of entities, allowing them to be considered accredited investors under SEC regulations.
